COVID-19 – Update

To protect the health and safety of customers and employees, the following restrictions are in place:

As of October 11, 2020, Salt Lake City Golf will suspend the prepayment requirement of green fees when reserving a tee time. Golfers will be asked to leave a credit card on file for their group, but will not be charged until they arrive at the course where you will have the option of having the golf shop staff member charge the card on file or splitting the transaction between all players when they arrive at the golf shop.

If you need to cancel or modify your reservation they may do so up until 2 hours before your tee time by visiting their dashboard on Chronogolf.com, on the Salt Lake City Golf App, or by calling the golf course.

COVID-19 update: After working diligently to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and align the operations of the golf course with the recommendations of the public health orders, all Denver Golf Courses are open under modified guidelines and procedures.         • Stay home if you are sick, have been around someone who has been sick, or if you or someone you’ve been in contact with has symptoms of COVID-19.
        • Masks are required to be worn inside the clubhouse areas.
        • Social distancing must be observed at all times and at all locations on the golf course, practice greens, clubhouse restrooms, and parking lots.
        • Golfers will be called to the first tee based on their tee time. Golfers must arrive at the course at least 20 minutes before their reserved time and should be ready to be called to the tee within 5 minutes of their tee time. While waiting, golfers must be sure to not congregate in large groups (10+ people) and must maintain 6 feet of social distance between others.
        • Be aware that singles, twosomes, and threesomes will be paired with other players during busy times.
        • On-course portable restrooms are not available. Clubhouse restrooms will be available and frequently sanitized, but we encourage players to plan ahead.
        • Golf course cafes are open
        • No club set rentals.
        • We encourage players to download the SLC Golf Mobile App which has score keeping and GPS functions.
        • On-course ball washers have either been removed or covered.
        • All bunker rakes have been removed from the courses.
        • All cups have been raised or otherwise altered, removing the need to touch the flag stick.

Situated on the East Bench of Salt Lake City, just 5 minutes away from the heart of downtown, the course offers awe-inspiring sunsets and views of both the surrounding mountains and the entire Salt Lake Valley. Its length and the wooded areas around many fairways make the course very challenging.

One of the area's most popular golf courses is Kiva Dunes in Fort Morgan. This par 72 jewel that plays 7,092 yards from the back tees and near 3,000 feet of private beach. This Jim Edgemon designed course is in a resort setting and features everything from condominiums, beach houses, private beach, fitness area, pools, and the Kiva Beach Club.

Forest Dale was built in 1906 as the Salt Lake Country Club and holds the distinction of being the oldest golf course in Utah. Forest Dale has undergone several phases of renovation since the City acquired the course in 1935. A major redesign in 1986 maintained the tradition while transporting the course into a contemporary test of golf. Today, it’s a challenging course with several small, original table-top greens that place a premium on accuracy.
Combined with exceptional views of the Wasatch and Oquirrh Mountains, Glendale creates the ideal golfing experience. The course offers large wonderfully maintained greens with lake and wetland lined fairways that attract an abundance of waterfowl. There is a great view of the Salt Lake City skyline and the state capitol building from the 9th green.
The Mountain Dell courses, situated 16 miles east of downtown Salt Lake City and at an altitude of 6,000 feet above sea level, offer 36 holes of breathtaking views and frequent glimpses of wildlife. The higher elevation provides ideal summer golfing conditions. The Canyon Course stretches up the eastern mountain from the clubhouse approximately four miles before looping back.
Nibley Park, which opened in May 1922 after the Nibley family donated the land to Salt Lake City, is the oldest public golf course in Utah. Its central location has made it a popular destination for city dwellers and tourists, offering breathtaking views of the Wasatch Mountains. Fairways and greens are guarded by mature trees, many of which were planted before the early pioneers arrived in Salt Lake City.
Nestled in the Northwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley, just minutes from downtown and the Salt Lake International airport, Rose Park is well-known for some of the finest bent grass greens in Utah. A variety of pine and willow trees frame most fairways, requiring accuracy off the tee. With subtle dogles and well-manicured fairways, Rose Park is a delightful course to walk. Rose Park is rated as one of Golf Digest’s Best Places To Play.
