In May of 2015, Klei launched Invisible, Inc., a stealth rogue-lite with a small but passionate following. On Monday, just a few weeks after the game’s fifth anniversary, Klei surprised fans with a Switch port. As of this writing, players can pick up Invisible, Inc. and its Contingency Plan expansion for $19.99 on the Nintendo Switch.

Invisible, Inc. is a tactical espionage game, where players will explore Klei’s world — complete with the studio’s unique art style — as a group of spies. Players control a handful of agents through different runs, trying to unravel the game’s plot and earn new rewards.

The game sees players infiltrate a variety of corporate structures and fight off security systems like turrets, lasers, safes, and computers. If it comes down to it, players may need to engage in combat with some guards. But ideally, players should be able to slip in and out without anyone knowing.

Invisible Inc Contingency Plan Review

Noted Invisible, Inc. fan Austin Walker, Waypoint cofounder and previous Giant Bomb staff member, confirmed via Twitter that the Switch port does Invisible, Inc. justice. According to Walker, Klei even increased the text size for handheld mode, making it easier for players to enjoy the experience in that setting.

The port comes with numerous agents to control, different items, and five different game types to play. The Contingency Plan DLC also makes the campaign longer, and adds bonus rewards, dangers, and agents.
